What we believe

Grace Alone

God loves the people of the world, even though we are sinful, rebel against Him, and do not deserve His love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly. By His suffering and death in our place Jesus purchased our forgiveness and won eternal life for us.

Faith Alone

All who hear this good news and believe it have the eternal life that God offers. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through Jesus.

Scripture Alone

The Bible is God’s inerrant and infallible Word, in which He reveals His law and His gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine.

About Us

Faith Lutheran Church is a member of Lutheran Church-Canada. It was founded in 1956 in Surrey, BC. We have been at our current location since 1978.

Our Worship

Worship at Faith Lutheran is family-integrated, meaning the children and parents attend the same service. The English fellowship has children’s Sunday School and Adult Bible Study before its service except during the summer.

We offer services in English, Spanish, Korean, Oromo and Chinese (Mandarin and translated into Cantonese).

The English fellowship celebrates Holy Communion on the first and third Sundays of each month. If there is a fifth Sunday in a month, that Sunday is a traditional divine service with Holy Communion.
